Last October, the Glance girls packed up their boots and headed to San Antonio, Texas for the Strategies Team Base Conference and what an experience it was.
At Glance Spa & Salon, we’re always chasing growth, inspiration, and the kind of moments that refill your cup both professionally and personally. This trip was all of that and more. It was an adventure rooted in passion, filled with enlightenment, and one that truly rejuvenated the soul.
Surrounded by like minded professionals and guided by incredible leadership, we were reminded of what it really means to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
As our Strategies coach, Steve Swanson, said:
“According to Webster, a team is a group of people working as one but we all know it extends beyond that definition. Teams can move mountains and have an aura about themselves. A true team is tangible… a felt experience.”
That message stuck with us. Because what we have at Glance isn’t just a group of individuals working side by side it’s something you can feel the moment you walk through the door. It’s in the support, the energy, the shared goals, and the way we show up for each other every single day.
And that’s why being named Team of the Year means so much!
